FAQ
Short answers to the questions we get most. Something missing? Ask us on Discord.
Does JamOnBread hold my NFTs or my ADA?
No. Listings and offers sit in smart contracts on Cardano, and only your wallet can cancel them. We never take custody of anything.
Why does a cheap item cost a little more than its price?
Under ₳40, our contract pays each fee part a fixed minimum, which adds up to more than 2.5%. The seller still pays 2.5%. The buyer covers the difference, at most about ₳0.19, and sees it before signing.
Why is there a ₳1 fee on some actions?
When you buy, accept an offer, cancel an offer or delist on a jpg.store or Wayup contract, we charge a flat ₳1 per transaction. Never on our own contract, and never when you move a listing to JamOnBread.
Has the contract been audited?
Yes, twice: by Vacuum Labs (internal audit) and Sundae Labs (external audit).
Can I move my jpg.store or Wayup listing here?
Yes. Open Migrate, pick your listings and sign once: they are delisted there and relisted on JamOnBread in the same transaction. There is no JamOnBread fee for this.
What does "View only" mean?
The listing sits on an older marketplace contract that we have not checked for trading. We show it so you see the full market, but you cannot buy it here.
What is a collection offer?
An offer for any item in a collection rather than one specific item. The holder who accepts chooses which item they send.
I am a creator. Where are my royalties?
Royalties from sales on JamOnBread are paid into an on-chain account for your royalty wallet. Claim them any time on the Royalties page. Sales on other marketplaces pay you the way their contract does.
How does the affiliate program pay?
You earn 0.5% of the price when someone you referred lists the item that sells, and 0.5% when someone you referred buys it. Up to 1% per sale, paid on-chain into your own account. Registering needs a one-time deposit that stays in that account so it can keep receiving payments. It is not refundable.
Why did my transaction fail?
Most often someone bought the item first, or your wallet has no collateral set up. The error message tells you which one and what to do.
