Fees

Sellers pay 2.5% of the sale price on JamOnBread, at any price. Here is where that 2.5% goes, straight from our contract. On jpg.store and Wayup listings we add a flat ₳1 per transaction.

Where the 2.5% goes

The fee is split into five parts. Two of them pay whoever referred the seller and the buyer through our affiliate program. If nobody referred them, those parts go to JamOnBread.

Example: a ₳100.00 sale with a 5% creator royalty, all in one transaction.

The two referrer parts are separate. The seller's referrer is fixed when the item is listed. The buyer's referrer is set when it is bought. They can be two people, one person who referred both, or nobody.

Sales under ₳40

Our contract pays every fee part at least a small fixed minimum. Under ₳40 those minimums add up to more than 2.5%. The seller still pays exactly 2.5%. The buyer covers the small difference and sees it before signing.

No rounding up to ₳1. A new output on Cardano has to hold about ₳1, so contracts that pay every fee and royalty as a new output round small amounts up to that. Ours adds each part to an account that is already open, so the top-ups below stay a fraction of an ADA. How that works

Amounts without referrers. With a referrer the top-up can be slightly higher; the exact total is always shown before you sign. The contract does not allow a sale at or below ₳1. When you accept an offer, you sign the transaction, so you cover the top-up.

Creator royalties

If the collection has a creator royalty, it comes out of the seller's share and goes to the creator's royalty account, which only the creator can claim from. The buyer's price does not change. The rate is shown on the item before you buy or list.

jpg.store and Wayup listings

When you buy or accept an offer on a jpg.store or Wayup contract, their own fee applies, already included in the total you see. Moving your listing to JamOnBread is free.

₳1 JamOnBread fee on jpg.store and Wayup contracts. When you buy, accept an offer, cancel an offer or delist on a jpg.store or Wayup contract, we charge a flat ₳1 per transaction, however many items it settles. It is shown before you sign. Moving a listing to JamOnBread is free, and trades on our own contract never pay it.

Network fee

Every Cardano transaction also pays a small network fee. It goes to the Cardano network, not to us. Your wallet shows it before you sign, and every fee on this page is listed in our transaction preview first.
